Item Donations Wish List


Here is a prioritized list of Humanitarian Kit items that Serving With Smiles needs for quarterly projects.  Most of these items can be purchased on Amazon, a local Utah Humanitarian kit supplier.


September School kit projects: 
(Most of these items go on mega sale from July to August)
  1. Pencil Sharpeners
  2. Small erasers
  3. Kid Scissors
  4. Children's underwear
  5. Children's socks  size 1-5
  6. Spiral  8x11 Notebooks
  7. School Bags or drawstring bags
  8. Pencils
  9. Color Pencils
  10. Crayons
  11. Rulers
  12. Chap Sticks
December Local Christmas Kid Kits:
  1. Christmas stockings (Or the Dollar Store sells these for $1 each)
  2. Children's underwear
  3. Children's socks
  4. New small child toy or stuffed animal (The Dollar Store)
  5. Mini notebooks or small journals (Seagull Book very often has these on sale for $2)
  6. Small child book
  7. Color Pencils
  8. Pencil Sharpeners
  9. Chapsticks

March Kid Kits:
  1. Girls dresses OR girl t-shirts + cotton fabric so we can make t-shirt dresses
  2. Boys t-shirts
  3. Boys ball caps
  4. Kids Underwear
  5. Kid Socks
  6. Girl cute barrettes OR steel clips so we can make barrettes
  7. Chapsticks
  8. Small notebooks
  9. Color Pencils
  10. Pencil Sharpeners
  11. Kid Scissors
  12. Granola Bars
  13. 2 Gallon Ziplock baggies

May Newborn Kits:
  1. New baby quilts or blankets
  2. 3 gallon ziplock baggies
  3. Drawstring bags
  4. Cloth Diapers or Flannel fabric so we can make them
  5. Diaper Pins
  6. Baby Socks or Booties
  7. Sensitive skin soap like Ivory or Dove.
  8. Washcloths
  9. Baby layettes or baby pajamas
  10. Baby onesies
  11. Cotton fabric to make quilts and slings.
  12. Baby slings or sling rings so we can make them
  13. Quilt Batting (use coupon at JoAnns)
